In a small mixing bowl, combine the tuna and albacore tuna until combined. Then, add the rest of the ingredients and mix.

Draining the Tuna Cans: Drain as much of the liquid as possible! This helps prevent the tuna salad from being too liquid, resulting in wet and soggy bread.
How to Store: This tuna salad recipe will last in the refrigerator for up to three days. Make sure to put it in an airtight container.
Tuna Substitution: You do not have to use one can of each type of tuna. If you only have two cans of chunk light tuna or two cans of albacore tuna, you can use those instead. It will still turn out well.
Optional Soy Sauce: Jersey Mike's does NOT use soy sauce in their tuna salad! However, JIMMY JOHN'S TUNA RECIPE uses soy sauce and I swear it takes the tuna salad to the next level. It's a personal preference. It is up to you whether or not you want to add it. If you'd like to try it, add 1/4th cup soy sauce.
