Simmer: Simmer the fruit juice, honey, and optional sugar in a small saucepan on medium heat. Make sure to stir occasionally. Once the liquid bubbles, remove it from the heat and let it cool for five to ten minutes.
Gelatin Mixture: In a small bowl, mix Gelatin with room temperature fruit juice or water until the gelatin is fully dissolved. The mixture should be thick.
Once the gelatin is dissolved, pour the slightly cooled-down juice mixture into the bowl of gelatin. Mix until the gelatin is dissolved.
Fill the Bear Molds: Place the gummy bear molds on a small baking sheet or tray. Use an eye-dropper or a small spoon to fill the silicone molds with the liquid mixture.
Refrigerate the filled gummy bear molds for at least 30 minutes. Then, pop the gummies out of the molds and enjoy!

How to store: Place the gummy bears in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to one week. Do NOT freeze!
Different Gummy Flavors: You can use different fruit juice to create other flavors. Popular flavors include apple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, grape juice, watermelon juice and lemon juice.
Avoid pineapple, kiwi, mango, and guava juice. They have an enzyme that can prevent the gelatin from setting properly.
Honey and Sugar: You can adjust the amount of honey depending on how sweet you would like the gummies to be. You can also add sugar.
Honey Substitutions: You can use maple syrup or corn syrup instead of honey.
