Brioche Hot Cross Buns with Glaze

These brioche hot cross buns are fluffy and with a rich flavor. Soft and pillowy buns filled with dried fruit, brushed with sweet glaze, and topped with a cross!

Knead all the ingredients in the stand mixer. You can also knead by hand. It doesn't take long!

Add raisins or dried fruit! You can add any dried fruit or nuts that you want. Chopped walnuts and pecans would be perfect.

Roll out the brioche dough. You can roll it flat or roll it into a log. This makes it easy to divide.

Divide into 12 pieces. They don't have to be perfectly even. As long as they're close in size that is fine.

Shape the dough into buns, cover, and let them rise! This doesn't take much time.

Add the crosses to the buns. Use a piping bag or Ziplock bag. It's super easy to do!

Perfect! Time to bake! Bake these for 20 to 25 minutes until they are golden brown.

Top it off with sweet glaze and it's ready to serve! My kids like it with salted butter.
